I could remove the rear deck panel with my 6x9's but then I would have no rear speakers...

I could remove my back seat but then i'd have no rear passengers

I could remove my rear deck 6x9's and put them in their own boxes in the middle of the rear deck (leaving the two 6x9 holes open for port passthrough)

I'm thinking the last idea since I want rear sound and passengers. Unless someone has a better idea for my 97 grand prix se

What material are the seats made of? Personally id go to the JY and buy some back seats in cloth and remove some of the foam in the flat areas so you have like ports into the trunk or as much as you feel you can get away with while still keeping it looking like a real seat.

i take it your seats dont fold down? i'd probably cut a hole through the rear deck and use a rectangle port

yeah do like this guy mentioned see if there is some space you can cut out the rear deck also if you have a nice front stage then rearfill isnt needed as much .

Yeah I checked and there's like no clearence, it's plywood and then its like 4 inches of space then metal with a ton of small gaps etc... Could I just cut the wood panel and have the metal chilling underneath? I'll take pictures tommorow but it's dark now so they won't come out.

I don't know what do do guys BLAH i need to port my trunk and NOOOO my seats dont fold down, if they did i'd be a happy man.

Would there be any way to cut a square port in my seat and not reduce structure of it? erm... I would really like a fold down seat would help me in a lot of ways, does anyone know of any online junkyard sites that search for seats for you? I found one before but it wasnt very good.

I just looked on car-parts.com and found two seats for $50 30 minutes away... thats like a gotta be its fold down for a 97 grand prix perfect, same color too I might go pick it up if you guys think its worth it?
