Bypassing a Pioneer h/u help

Recommended Posts

Props to what Ray said. The majority of ya'll have no idea what you're talking about. How do you expect to help someone when you have no experience with the unit and it's bypass procedure or any idea what you're talking about.Anyways.......It's all over the internet but I'll post it again.

Get a standard 5 pin relay. It has 5 pins but you will only be using 4. Get four female speaker terminals/spade terminals/ etc. and connect pins 86 and 87 to ground. Tap off of your remote turn on from the Pioneer harness and connect it to pin 85.Take the green parking brake wire from the Pioneer harness and connect it to pin 30.I honestly don't know how else to explain it any clearer so hopefully that helps.

Before a million people ask, yes this will work for the 3100, the 4000, etc.
