Has anybody ever heard of a 12 ohm SVC 10" MTX t5500 series woofer???

they have dual 4 ohm thats it lol. where the hell did you hear 12 ohm from.

thats what im thinkin lol. ok i bought a sub and box combo kit off overstock.com (3 MTX 10" Thunder 5500 in ported box) the speaker cone reads just like a Thunder 5500 MTX but today i opened it up and the speaker is a single voice coil and it says 12 ohms on the motor

they do it to run 4 10s and end up at 2ohms and sell as that sub/box combo

From what I was told by an employee they did it so you could run 3 subs and have a normal load. 3 12 ohm subs is 4 ohm.

Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P6000UB

Sub Amp:American Bass VFL 500.1

Subs: 4 Fi BL 18's

Enclosure:21.5 Cubic foot flat wall tuned to 40 hz

Batteries: 3 Kinetik 2400's in the back, Kinetik 1200 under hood.

Mids & Highs: 4 Kicker DS 6.5 coax in doors, 2 Kicker DS coax in pillars

Highs Amp: Kicker kx250.2, kx100.2

Wire: 4 Runs 1/0 gauge Knukonceptz

3 12ohm (lol) woofers in parallel is 4 ohms so no you cant go any lower.
