OH MAN you need a new alt for them accords they have like a 70 amp alt and any 1K amp will be a strain on that amp...for the front id get a powermaster the biggest one you could fit like the 2400 or i think a 1800 will fit for them imports/ That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

Nightshade Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 I'll get you a price for an alt for a 1992 Accord if you can tell me what engine is in it. Like I said before the best bet for you would be a 220 amp from Iraggi that will do 220 at max output and around 180 at idle. I think that will keep you at a steady voltage once you upgrade the front battery. I would reccomend a small battery in the rear by the amp. I don't think that you can fit a huge battery under the hood without any modification so your going to be limited on what can be run so a secondary small battery should help out quite a bit. On top of that you should have 0 guage run to the amp if you don't already. Just pm me the info on the car engine and anything else you know about it and I'll get you a price for the 220 amp model. There are also 240, 260, and 300 or larger amp models but that would all depend on if you are planning on upgrading to a larger system later on in the future. My particular Iraggi alt does 249 max and 198 at idle and handles around 5800 watts with ease. I do have 2 XS Power D3100's in the rear and they are the biggest baddest battery that XS Power makes, along with an upgraded Deka G34 up front that does over 1000 amps it's self. I can talk to Dom today and get back to you as soon as possible if your in a hurry to get something done it can be worked out.
