Yeah, they do good for mids and highs, but for bass- not so much. Get some plugs and then put earmuffs on top of that. I got some earmuffs from a sporting goods store (Remington Brand I think) and they do pretty good. I took the foam out and put sound deadener on the inside (the back of the outer part that you see) and then put the foam back in along with some other foam I had. cqtama Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 well the guna plugds are made for more mid to high end frequencies so the material there made out of mght not block out bass, its lower in frequency wich makes the waves much larger, hence why you can hear bass so far away through solid objects so easily. the waves just move right through sheet metal sheetrock almst anything. i have given my friends those little "squishy" earplugs that form to the inside of your ear, not sure really where to get them but they sem to work well R.I.P '01 blazer you treated my ears well until your transmission blew up.
