i dont think the ampere of the fuse determines how much power is transferred through it ... im sure it just means when it gets over the ampere then it blows ... like a 100 amp fuse seeing 150+ (or a short) or something.

Well if it isnt blown, then it is not causing a problem. If the amp was drawing enough power, it would blow.

It takes about 500A to blow a 300A fuse. What's your current power wire? If it's 4 gauge and you get a short with a 300A fuse, refer to the thread about burning cars.

If you're not popping the fuse as it is then it's not the problem.
