:hairtrick: Im trying to decide what amp i should get for my new system i have two dual 4 ohm alpine type Rs and i have decided that i wanted the Hifonics BXi 2010D beacause it puts out 2000 at 1 ohms and i want to push the type rs with at least 750 watts so if you could help me that would be great thank you :hairtrick:

but to kogwanted, do you have the electrical to back up a big amp like that? (2000+ watts)

and just for future reference, the hifonics brutus amps are a tad overrated, meaning they do less than they say. but its just by a little bit

i only have a 100 amp delco aftermarket altanator but im going to buy a power cap and possibly a new battery

Is a 100amp alt even an upgrade over stock at all?? Sounds like it's just an aftermarket OEM replacement, so it won't be any better than the stock alt you had before. Don't buy a cap, it's a waste of money and won't help you out in this case at all. Instead invest your money into getting a solid under hood batt(Kinetik 800/1000 or similar), big batt in back(Kinetik 2400, XS 3100, Northstar NSB90 or 125, etc) and buying quality 1/0ga wiring to do the big 3 upgrade + for your power/ground runs.

Since you're planning on running 1500-2000w daily I'd suggest getting at least what I suggested.. A quality cheap amp for the 2 12" Rs would be an Audiopipe Ap15001D. It's very cheap price wise and will do rated power, price vs power it really can't be beat. I've seen them BNIB for like $150 shipped, which is insane for a legit 1500w amp that does rated power.
