mbaty1
Hello All, I have a couple 6.5" subs that I build a t-line box for, for the wifes car. Really was just something fun while still giving her some bumps, and I must asay, I was rather impressed with the results; however, in comes the issue. The wife was showing off her speakers to a friend, started to wang on them for a few minutes listening to some Luda, and all the sudden started seeing the dustcap "flapping" a little. She was good enough to turn the system off right away to make sure she didn't hurt anything and showed me what happened. Luckily, it seems the glue/adhesive around the dustcap/surround came loose. I know (read: think) this really doesn't hurt the speaker performance, but was curious what you guys would use to re-attach the dustcap to the surround and if there were any special steps or directions I should take when trying to get this fixed? Any help would be much appreciated! I've dealt with plenty of systems, but never had to do any work on a speaker.
