Guest Nismofreak
i'm am still looking into the new 2007 hifonics amp(2607D). although some say hifonics is overrated(meaning their amps put out a little less wattage than stated). i think that new 2607D will push my two Rockford Fosgate T2 12s nicely....... seeing it'll be 2600rms(probably do 2300 rms). hell i got two BX1500ds at that moment(one on each sub running at 2 ohm), all i have to say is they slam. but i'm working on converting back to just one big amp though. but to anyone out there hifonics amps do require a good electrical system cause they are hungry(better yet greedy) for power that is. ^^Not that really power hungry but yah my electrical system is updates with 0 gauge wiring but I have my amp running off a stock alt and kirland battery which I need to update...No light dimming at all but mine pushes about 450rms so...but now running about 110rms at 2-ohm on my right front. BUt I am not pushing a sub so Edited May 28, 2007 by Nismofreak

dmanson
hell i like RF over hifonics anyday. i was trying to get T20001bd but heck they wanted too much money. i ran across a hifonics bx1500d, did weeks of research on reviews from some owners of the amp and couldn't find one bad review so i went with one of them for $300. recently i copped another one a few months ago and heck my expedition flexes hard. i still love Rf though, just ain't got the money at the moment for it. CynicLos
the new hifonics amps and the comp sub look nice, i think its called colossus xxv, has a big-o magnet. and i guess im one of the lucky ones to have a good working bxi amp, cus mine hasnt let me down any time, but oh boy... it does eat some power, my voltage used to have a huge drop *from 12.4 to 10*, so i added an oltima and it fixed some of the problem. ill just wait some more and go with a bigger amp cus ive been lookin into them fi's... damn, they are some very sexy lookin subs! still havent really decided which way to go... i like to plan the whole thing first, probably every1 does. ill probably end up going with some higher-end hifonics for amps *and later move into the higher-end RF amps*, and maby throw in 2 bl's in the car. Andrew
I vote PA. I heard from a reliable source that the PA's are running the nearly exact same boards as soundstream. PA FTW Quote New project in the works
EricR
shit for not even 600$ you can get a T2000.1bd which pushes about 2500 watts TRUE rms.....RF FTMFW Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
