about to port my box

Well I'm a bit new too so I don't want to give advice and have it be wrong. Without knowing squat about your actual sub, the 3 3" pvc tubes DOES put you in the usual recommended port area range.

If you're wanting to get a box design, you can ask to have someone do a design for you. May be better to pay $10-$20 to someone who knows their shit in order to save yourself hassle and wood cost down the road.

yea true that i made the box for it to be right in between min and max size to be ported so i just need to get the port in and tuned right haha. ill wait and see what the say haha thanks for the help tho man i really appreciate it bro

If you built it to 1.5 with no displacement then a 3" would need to be 12" long and get ya to 36 and a new over all volume of 1.3 with a .10 sub displacement.

Yes just the one port and that was figured inside the box.

if it was outside the box you wouldnt take away from the airspace inside the box giving you more internal airspace

alright guys did the port today, sounds better but not as much of a difference as i thought i would see, oh well
