thats not nearly enough money to "scare the crap out of my friends with how hard it hits"

Good luck and you prob should stick to used equipment cause new isn't going to stay inside that budget.

You could get an AudioPipe 3000.1D for like $350 brand new and maybe a T3 T.2000

Or a woofer that could handle 3k or 2 subs that could take 1500 each.

yeah unless you come acrossed one hell of a deal spl and budget dont usually go in the same sentence!!!! there is no offense or sarcasm in my statement just letting you know that if you want the results you are looking for you should be ready to spend the money it will require.

I think my last SPL build had $350 worth of wood in it... easily crack $1000 without even having a sub or amp.

SPL =/= cheap

I mean yeah, you can do 'good' numbers on a budget but it's more like 'wow, thats a good number for that cheap-ass gear', not competitive in SPL competition 'good'.

Look for a used Fi Btl. you can find used fi btl 15's for 300, and create your own box, maybe 6.0 cuft tuned to 34 hertz

And power it with magic fairy dust I guess?

BTL = 3kw amp

3kw amp = extra battery

3kw = 0 gauge cable + lugs + 250-300A fuses

Where's your $350 budget now?
