Mechman Alternators

Recommended Posts

Got the altenator in i have the belt very tight compared to my other 2 is this a problem do i need to loosen it up some?

Because of the pulley used on that truck, you are going to need the belt very tight to prevent belt slip, it is supposed to be that way.

14.3-14.8 volts is typical at idle, depending on tempurature. Glad to hear it is living up to your expectations!
