I Think I Fixed Clipping

I can't find a clean version of thug so if you fix it I know you aren't cheating

if there is a clean version of a song that is clipped then you could just send me that one and say its fixed

swing my door sounds like HPF because I hear almost no mid range on gucci's voice in the beginning.. you also sacrificed mids and highs just like decaf said because his voice is distorted when the bass hits.

i do use hpf but it not the first step i my have it a bit high thanks for pointing that out

lpf - hpf - record(under stereo mix) - EQ

well u are onto something bro

so u set ut lpf at say 15k

hpf on old audacity is either 89hz or 45hz, nothing in between (after u do hpf, go to undo and then go to hpf, it will say either 89 or 45, weird huh)

u should use a 30 band eq so u can fine tune everything, thats what i do

and ben you use the old audacity which means u have less options as well

i had the new audacity for a short period of time seemed to complex for me and i didn"t like how they had stuff that would just freeze up the program like that clip fix

LOL, think of all the other music editing programs there are... one is bound to have 1/3 octave eq's... if not cnet.com sure is a great place

if so i don"t think its legal to post it here unless its on a free mixtape some wear i have plenty of clipped songs i can do but im sure most of them can be found elsewhere unclipped
