box question

i have 2 jl W7's 12inch, and was wondering if i build one to 28hz will it sound good, jl told me it wouldnt because the subwoofer was deisnged to hit 32 hz, but give me some idea's on a mox

I had 4 13w7's in a 15 cube box tuned to between 22 and 24 hz, it's been a while so I don't remember exactly. Idk why I did it that way really, Just thought it was a fun idea lol...It utterly destroyed the lows, but did roll off a lil on the higher bass. Overall I liked it a lot though, they sounded great on C&S stuff, and even a lot of non slowed stuff.

28hz is fine for those subs, just don't overpower them. Please tell me you aren't planning to do 1 at 28 and the other at something else

no i really wanted to do both of them @ 28hz both running through the port, i dont really think i can do 28hz each, that would be to much space wouldnt it, i have a 99 mercury cougar, check out the trunk and give me a box ideas, then i will post up my build after i get my other jlw7 rreconed.
