Do you thing it will help at all? or is it a waste of time? Toady Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 I am not sure about anybody else but I've seen a Rockford Fosgate 1.0 Farad for sale in a best buy store about 87 miles from where i live, and they waned 179.99 for it, If you can get it for 10 bucks, then jump on that, The thing is if you are looking for the cap to act as a battery lets say a kinetic 600 then you will be disappointed, but i have had experiences and i know many other that have, and they do seem to help stable the voltage drops, before mine would drop more and on certain notes it would be a ridiculous drop, with a cap its help stable it to where the certain notes dont drop as bad. Like I said my personal experience (10 Bucks is still a good buy tho) Quote

neuspeedescort Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 a cap is only as good at its power source. just like everything. if you have a voltage issue its not going to do you any good. think of it this way. if you cut your hand open so bad you need stitches do you put a band aid on it and call it good? most would not! so go buy a good battery with the profit you turn from selling to on ebay or a forum of noobs.
