melonhead Posted January 25, 2010 Author Report Posted January 25, 2010 As an under hood batt Optimas are just fine... Look into Northstar batteries btw, I run them and they are top notch. So Optimas are ok under the hood, just not in the trunk?

I need a battery like now so I'll just order an Optima from Kragen and they can have it to me by the end of the week. When I get a bigger system then I'll get a bigger battery under the hood and start putting batteries in the trunk. For now I just need a better battery than a stock one.
