Alright so i've been wondering lately about different kinds of amps and how much power they take from a cars electrical. At idle with stock alternator, stock battery, and no big 3 my voltage hits the low 11's (Don't worry all will be fixed soon  ) with my Hifonics Brutus BXI 2010D. I've Also heard that alot more people with Irragi Alts, and Yellow-tops have a hard time feeding power to the Hifonics Brutus 2610D. Are these amps just too hard to feed high electrical to??

just need a decent battery.

Yellow tops arent good enough.

XS Power 2700 or 3100 would be good.

BTW, dropping to 11v, really isnt bad at idle.

11 is really not that bad??

Nope, with that power, and the electrical you have, at idle. Looks normal to me. Any amp you get with that power output will be the same.

Get a beefier battery and you will be OK. a D3100 will keep you over 12v

wat the hell does ur battery have to do wit the car running... if anything u need a better alt inless ur runnin the amp wit the car off then u need a big batt. becuz when the car is running ur power is comin frmo ur alt. not the batt

Wanna take your battery(s) out and try to turn your car on please?

The power is coming from your battery, your alternator is recharging the battery(s) so these thing(s) can continue to feed off of the battery(s).
