would lining the port with aluminum be a bad thing or not? cuz at work we have this press that bends sheets of steel and a plasma cutter. if i get some sheets of aluminum bent and cut out for a slot port have any negative affects

the only thing i could think of as being bad is that the aluminium could rattle. Ive never seen something like this before, could be cool

i saw a box made out of diamond plate do a 140 with a 15" jl w1, oldschool one the, i guess metal is good. idk. i dont see why u would want too. put the metal on the outside of the port wall to cut down on flex if anything.

im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire.

Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block....
