Tek
All angry responses will be accepted because I acknowledge that this is a somewhat of a newb question. Is it okay to use a 1-ohm amp on subs that are at 1.3 ohms?
calvin_115
Yes you can but you won't get the power the amplifier is rated to give out at 1 ohm and impedance rise will rise it moar?? Basic Amp Tips: Get a good amplifier. Never use bass boost. Match your gain to your headunit's pre-out voltage (just because gain is at half doesn't mean it's at half volume unless your preout is really 0.2v or something. Use good power cables. Guest
Buddy, can you read the posts? x2. anyways, just because you have subs wired to 1 ohm on a 1 ohm stable amp, those subs will BARELY ever (99.999% of the time) ever reach 1 ohm. it will always be higher.
