I thought all lanzars were crap. are these actually worth more than the box they're shipped in. STEvil Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 I have a pair of Opti2000D's and they seem to make just barely under rated power (one is a slightly newer revision than the other). Only problem i've had with the older revision one is solder cracking on the RCA inputs. I hear the Opti2000D's have this thing with dieing when used at 0.5 ohm loads. At least thats what the local dealer guy says (IASity Sound Lethbridge Alberta). I was tempted to go for the 6000D but it looks a bit small for the power compared to say a 2000D. 2000D has a huge output stage (3KW worth of 'fets) relative to the input stage btw. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it.
