atlninja82 Posted February 4, 2010 Report Share Posted February 4, 2010 i just ordered DD 2510's but i told him not to actually call dd and have them made untill i figure out if i wanna run them to a 1 ohm load or .5 ohm. I have a sundown saz 1500 and i have an iraggi 260 amp alt, an optima red top, and a kinetic hc2400 with the big 3 done all in 1/0. i figure after box rise even wired at .5 ohm it will be over 1 ohm anyways so do you guys think this is a good idea or should i stick to 1 ohm? and how much power will it put out at a half ohm? thanks, -eric Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It did 1890W at 12.8V at .5Ω. Very impressive. Reactive impedance varies with frequency. If you must run the amp @ 0.5ohm your electrical will support the amp just fine regardless of impedance rise.
