the old heatsync is actually a first run so its got a more then a few years on it and the slave amps about 2 years old ive owned both amps for over a year ran each on at .5 seperatly and now both strapped at 1 ohm seriously stunning amps an they love the 270xp from DCpower juicing them

iirc you can use one of maxxsonics gain knobs if you can work the mess out with your rcas and you could bypass the sundown gain knobs and you a gain knob for the rca signal.

as long as both amps are at 1ohm a piece before rise you should be good i wouldnt strap them @1ohm though they pull alotta juice

run em lower if your electrical is above par these amps shine when wired to .5 before rise

and your trunk latch will grind away w/ in weeks mane i bet you actually tear the trunk sheet metal with what your running get some vids up man

your a team leader and you cooked an sa8 40$ isnt even alot of cash i didnt think twice to drop 95$ on a new recone for my 9515g should post pics of set up and what amp you ran and how you wired your subwoofer.
