At what point is it to big and do I really need a port... Because that makes no sense they make small sealed boxs for 18s....does it have to do with space?? jesterjames Posted February 11, 2010 Report Share Posted February 11, 2010 when they seal an 18" its because they are limited on space or dont know how to port a box, 500wrms isnt much. Id lean towards 4.9-5.2 cu'ft after all displacements. Meaning the sub has that much air space and thats not counting the port. If Morgan Freeman narrated a story on how great AIDS is, I would be captivated and tempted to contract it myself. His voice just fills my soul with warm fuzzies and puppy tears. He has NO idea and may have a touch of autism to be honest. Is this guy real or is he joking? i actually mistook him for a lesbian in that demo video Wanted to mess around with a box for the garage. This is just my set up for early 2010 but it's an MA 15" 1000 peak 500 rms 4ohm and hopefully a camaro 99-02 but prob just a reg car like a new Malibu or Acura TL...is what I want to build the box to.
