Gave big black a little bit of a check up today and fitted the 18hz subsonic

was basically checking to make sure the cables underneath where still sfe and secure - a poor mans jack

For anyone looking to change the standard 33hz subsonic filter in an epicenter (remember you low tuned guys this little chip is stealing your DBZ!!!!) here it is on the left of the pic with the 6 resistors next to the little red tabs - the stock one looks more like a chip than this custom made 18hz one (THANK YOU DIRTYDUBBER!!!)

my 24hz module is going spare if anyone wants it at Ignition Extreme

I also stripped down the amps at the back and tightedned every thing up following the 'is the back wall vibrating no its this loose amp here' issue

Took Big Black out for a little testing session as well

here is a little video that kind of demonstrates the clarity and volume of the front end - immense!!

Will the epicenter still work properly if that subsonic was removed completely? And of course I voted you for SOTM, your truck is the hottest finished vehicle on SMD right now.

I think you just won't have subsonic at all...

Thank you kind sir - im glad you like it

I was talking about this exact same thing the other day with Am Singh (the dude with the AA chevy astro) and he said it just makes the subsonic 0hz

i am forever forgetting to turn the repic down when im done - so dropping some silly lows through my subs doesnt appeal hence the 18hz module being fitted

Yeah, thats the idea. My amp already has one I certainly don't need one before the amp. So I was asking if it would function without.

with it, it would cut off faster and you could have it set at diffrent point, say one at 20, and on amp on 30 or something, at 20 it would cut off a lot more then just amp by itself

Yeah, I don't need two roll off points, plus I keep my tuning low already with extremely large drivers. Playing below tuning doesn't concern me, my subsonic is already very low. I would rather not have one at all. So I could remove that subsonic chip and it would work without having anything there? Or do I have to add something there to make it work? I can get epicenters dirt cheap but I wasn't impressed with my friend's. If I can custom tailor it a little more I might use one.

It's all gone!
