corrie32 Posted February 12, 2010 Report Share Posted February 12, 2010 well i havent dealt with an audioque, but from this statement, i can tell you right now to NOT get the hifonics. it will do exactly what my bxi 2608 did... poof =[ was it user error?? what did your electrical consist of?? what ohm load did you run it at? in other words tell us why it blew, so who ever buys one don't make the same mistake you did. cjvue Posted February 13, 2010 Report Share Posted February 13, 2010 i am wondering between the three amps too for my future build.... to me personally I would I would have to factor the space available for the amp...AP3000D is 30+ inch long. Price is also a factor. But remember you are also paying for a better quality and CS with AQ. Heard only good things about the AQ... mix reviews with both BXi2610d and AP3000D. I'm sure with good electrical to support, you wouldn't be disappoint with either one of those. I leanning towards AQ though. 99s10dowork Posted February 13, 2010 Report Share Posted February 13, 2010 I never had a problem with hifonics a ran a 1206d, 1606d, and 2008d...the 1206 and 1606 definitely werent built as well as the 2008. the 2008 stayed cool to the touch the entire time i had it and it was at 1 ohm on a fi bl 12, and i put it at 2 ohms and it pushed a re sx like it was nothing.
