TahoeDD
As stated make sure you have full intake, full exhaust then I'd start to save for a head/cam package with a MS4 cam, then that s10 will be moving its feet just a little quicker -- former 04' cobra owner here and believe me I had a lot of ls1 rivalries and many friends with them I felt like I knew way too much about them. Knew about 3 with the MS4 cam that ran stout as hell in fbody's and c5's. I know texas speed has head/cam packages and cam only packages available with mail order tunes for the ls1's. Should see 320-330 whp through an auto. D_man1987
as far as what i would do on a slight budget is long tubes(also long is better for high rpm, shorties for torque, but on LS engines long is usually best) lower gears(higher numerically) 1.6 roller rocker arms mass airflow housing TUNE!!!!!! and if you want spray, these engines do wonders on nitrous oh and colder plugs if you do nitrous... do all that and for under $1500 you should easily hit some 11's Quote 1996 GMC YUKON 2dr Eclipse cd5000 six- Soundstream T5 12's in 13^ft tuned to 30.4hz,43.04hz, and 53.53hz soundoff 149.8 on TL in kick,150.0 SEALED in kick 147.8 SB4 3 RF T5002's--------------going to 3 Soundstream DTR1.3400D's two- Stinger sp1000's----going to two- BATCAP 4000's 2 140 amp alternators---going to 300amp Ohio Generator 2 runs 1/0ga, big 3-------going to 4 runs 1/0g + and 3 runs 1/0g - MB Quart QSD 6.5's in doors---soon to come my build log HERE!!!! check it out!
