MickyMcD Posted February 17, 2010 Report Share Posted February 17, 2010 Heavier / thicker / better built boxes dont move let alone vibrate when the bass hits.my box out of the car on the ground with both subs slammin didnt even make a water bottle move when i set it on to. now a cheap prefab box that weights 11lb s MIGHT but not a big heavy one and sub in the center of the room ?? bad idea... corners are where its at. I disagree. It is nice to get the extra +3dB per boundry and space division, but the incident offset kills me everytime. Dead ahead or behind, 0 degrees offset from the listening position if I can. I suppose it depends on the venue. Horses for courses, my opinion means nothing.
