My subs are a total of .3 cft in displacement. Box is 47 inches wide, 26 inches deep, and 18 inches high. Port has a width of 8.5 inches, 16.5 inches tall, and it is port total length (port L1 plus port L2 plus end correction) of 21 inches. Can you let me know where i stand in tuning and net volume? bracing is about .02 cft they are both 1 inch diameter dowels one at 16.5 inches tall and the other 24.5 inches tall. Im thinking of adding more Dowel rods for bracing and also maybe to get the tuning higher and volume smaller if it needs it. I think the box looks pretty good for your first time, the sub holes could be a little better but its not that big of deal if there aren't any leaks. Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? The sub cutouts are horrible i admit my jigsaw work sucks hope i can get better but they dont leak. Only thing that sucks is that im hooked on car audio now after being in this forum a complete rookie so im most likely will upgrade to two 15 hdc on 3000 or 3500 rms and by then i might have to sell this box or find a way to brace it better. Any thoughts on what im looking at in terms of tuning and volume? For the dowels i screwed them down externally and used liquid nails internally then finished all the seams as well as the dowels with a white silicon. Not sure i understand about the smacking each other the camera might be deceiving but they are not really close to each other unless i misunderstood the comment. Yeah now that ive spent time researching and informing myself i now know that terminals are not the way to go. I can still add thie bolts right and how much of power choking am i seeing is it a huge difference. Thanks for all the comments and does anybody know a tuning and volume figure i am looking at.
