I think the topic is confusing people, because you are asking what size sub is best for daily use, but then you go and say what is the best size for an average joe that just wants to beat down the block. If that's all the person does, they'll take anything they can to do it. Most of the time around here, when somebody just wants to beat for the hell of it just to be loud and annoy people, it's 12s. There is an occasionally a 10, rarely a 15, and I've never seen anybody else around where I live with an 18 except me (reason I went with it). So I'll just go ahead and vote 12, even though any size is great for daily use.

haha, honestly, it would still depend on what car I had.

And truthfully, my brother would pick a different size, and my friend would pick a different size. They both have different types of cars and different tastes.

I would have to agree that it depends on the size available and type of vehicle. In a hatchback, one good 15 or two good 10's can be good enough. Other factors such as preference for SQL also needs to be taken into consideration. I thinking about building a T-Line for my T3 10" and call it a day.
