Rags2Bitches
I missed it last year, and I always find out about them too late, but tonight I finally went to another one to spectate, and sat in something hitting over a 150 (never been able to sit in something like this before).....he was running 8 15" MA Audios (not sure what model) and had a SAZ15000 and not sure what the amp running his mids/highs was. Since it was my first experience, I didnt want to bother with a camera taking my own reaction, but an easy way to re-enact my reaction is to go watch a porno and everything the guy experienced at climax is what I experienced x10 sitting in the passenger seat. lol here's two vids I did make of it from outside the van..... now I KINDA have an idea what sitting in Assman's or Meade's trucks would feel like.... audiofanaticz
There is no such think as a sundown saz 15000... That looks like a pair of sundown saz1500s or 2000s. Deff not 15000wrms, and not a 155db Maybe a 150db legal (windows closed mic on dash db drag location). Or a 155 with the mic in the kick panel and drivers door open. Rags2Bitches
is there any sort of 15000 model line or anything? I know I saw 15000 printed on the casing, and it was definitely more than 3000 watts because I've sat in 3000 watts before and it wasnt anything near this! And as long as I've known MECA comps, they've always been accurate on the cailbration of their mics....there's no rumors floating around here that I've heard that they cheat the mics or anything like that.... SocoJoe
MECA measures on the dash and yeah it looks like he has multiple amps, and a usps package for another 10dbs! tommyk90
MECA measures on the dash and yeah it looks like he has multiple amps, and a usps package for another 10dbs! Incorrect, MECA measures at the headrest. Van did 155.3 at the headrest this weekend with the car OFF. Not sure what it does legal on the dash as there's no db drag around there so they never test that way. It peaks in the low 30 hz range. BTW, it has 4 1500D's.
