Inverted subwoofer wiring

Recommended Posts

Now we are building this box for 12-10" alphasonik 600 series subs and the subs that are in the angle position of the enclosure I'm mounting regular and the top row of four I want to invert, My question is, when I invert the top four do i need to change the polarity or change the phase from 0 to 180 or just run it normal....each row of four subs will be on a Alphasonik PMA1200DA

Here is an unfinished pic of box

My guess is change the phase, but that is just a guess.

change it 180, you want all the subs pushinbg the same way. the normal facing pushing out, then the inverted wired in reverse :D otherwise your just swapping air back and forth between the subs, instead of compressing air with all the subs

forgot to add.....nice enclosure:)

people who dont know the answer dont need to post for fuck sakes

you could either wire them backwards or if your amp has phase switch it to 180

if you wire them all normal you'll have some bad phase issues

R.I.P!
