mario7538 Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 So i got rid of my rockford system i had about 3 months ago because i was tired of it, but now i just bought 2 10 inch kicker cvx's on CL for 160, which is not bad on the price, they are in great condition and work perfectly. i did however notice 4 days later after taking a second look at them that one is dual 2 ohms, and the other is dual 4 ohms. Luckily I did not buy an amp yet, Im still not sure what i should do about this perdicament. I was thinking about just giving one to my friend. but i would like to run both subs if possible. any ideas? 04 hyundai sonata jvc head unit alpine type s components 6.5's 4 kicker tweeters 2 in the front 2 in the back MARIO

Two dual 4's can yield a 1 ohm load which is what most sub amps prefer, so if I were you I would try to sell the dual 2 one. Actually all of the kicker amps put out full power at 2 ohms. So you can sell either. dual 2ohm subs are good to wire down to one ohm by them selves for a one sub one amp setup or with 2 dual two's you can wire it to 2 ohms for amps like kicker/JL audio/ etc. Hope this helps. i think i just gave myself a concussion i facepalmed so hard. and for the 1's that dont like me..... well, Im still here fuckers. He didn't like it sealed or ported and sold it to get a 12" Type-R. My Youtube Page.
