Roof bracing for explorer

Recommended Posts

i was surfing the forum and came across some posts about bracing the roof of an explorer so you dont rip it out. what kinda shit do you have to be running to do this sort of thing? and is it worth bracing before you reach a "dangerous" level? and how? would a thick layer of second skin help or dynamat? im probably not at this level but damn that would suck.

ya idk where he lives. im in seattle so a cracked roof would suck. im hoping just putting some deadener on the roof will help cuz i havent put that kinda stress on it. but i gotta drop the headliner and see what kinda space i have first.
