I just called one of dc's dealers and they quoted me $800 for 1 15" dc lvl 4 xl. Is that a normal price for them or is that way to high.

Its called overhead...........What ohm do you need IIRC Jack is selling his LVL4XL's might be cheaper to get em that way.

well originally i was going to get kicker cvx 15 with dual 4 ohm voice coils because i need to make a 1 ohm load and i know i cant do that with the 2 ohm subs. so im not really sure if the dvc 1 ohm subs will be able to make a 1 ohm load... so im kinda confused right now.

What amp are u running?? and at what ohm??
