I use

AVG Free Anti-virus - Works Great

Seems like there is to many Viruses that know how to disable Norton so I stopped using it.

AVG all the way man. Norton slows down your computer also...noticed that a lot from fixing peoples computers. But yeah go AVG for sure!

I'll agree with Avira or AVG. Microsofts new security essentials is also not bad for free.

Having worked at McAfee I can't recommend their products too much :)

Avira AntiVir Personal, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and SUPERAntiSpyware. all of which are free. never had any problems

Avira AntiVir was the online prog that picked on a trojan that piggie backed into Firefox a couple months back.

I personally like the Avira Premium Security Suite.

But if you want free software, for the A/V I'd use Avira free and for a firewall Comodo Firewall, great stuff once you "train" it.

Another small security tip, use Firfox and install an extension called "NoScript". You'll have to train it too, but it's a gem.

ESET Smart Security+Nodenabler=WIN...automatically searches for licenses

Yes, Norton and Mcafee and what not are crap and slow down your computer

Avast is good too aswell as AVG but I love ESET SS...Nod32 from ESET is good too

Also I use Malwarebyte...I'm gonna try out that SuperAntispyware or I might download Spyware Blaster...
