bcpballer64
If i wanted to build a box that was for two 15's that require 3.25 cubes each i know if they had separate chambers they would get 3.25 each. But if i wanted to just have the subs in the same chamber would it need to be 6.5 cubes? I'm just talking sealed for now. thanks in advance for any help. AUDIOADDICT02
I wouldn't do common chamber sealed...but yes, it would have to be 6.5 cubes... bcpballer64
yes ok thanks I wouldn't do common chamber sealed...but yes, it would have to be 6.5 cubes... this is just all hypothetical i will more than likely end up ported im just tossing around some ideas in my head. thanks for the info though "The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- (Thomas Jefferson)
Guest
why would you not do a common chamber sealed box?
AUDIOADDICT02
why would you not do a common chamber sealed box? I feel the sub cones would end up working on each other with all the pressure inside the box....that's just me though... bcpballer64
I feel the sub cones would end up working on each other with all the pressure inside the box....that's just me though... Thats why i asked i thought that if the subs did hit even a slight bit different time it would work against each other making the dubs, drivers, and in turn the amp and electrical system work harder. Thanks for the info i really apperciate it. Im playing with SKP right now see if i cant get my ideas down on paper "The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- (Thomas Jefferson)

Im playing with SKP right now see if i cant get my ideas down on paper The elctrical system would end up working harder powering subs in a sealed setup either way; most subs can handle 2x the rms in a sealed enclosure...your welcome, glad i can help!
