meade916 Posted September 26, 2006 Report Share Posted September 26, 2006 i keep hearing all this talk about a 150 with one 10" Alpine type R......everyone tries to use it as an example but seeins how its not typical for people to slap that sub in and do that kinda number im wondering exactly what you did to achieve such a high number with an OK sub. Ive played with them and watched them fall apart (surrounds come unglued) and i know they can only handle so much power so im just curious on what you did.Got pics? Descriptions of just how it was done? Was it a wall? Was it non walled but theres no back seat and the box is right there? No matter what its a huge score for that sub im just curious on what the circumstances were. scratchy Posted September 27, 2006 Report Share Posted September 27, 2006 that IS a damn impresive score. Im trying to get as much out of a street A setup (1 x 12" + 1 x 1550 wrms amp) as possible. Its in a hatch, so Im thinking crx style box...What do u guy suggest? I can do 147 bass boxing with 2 x 12inchers. But ive never worked on a street a setup for pure spl > Oh ya. Should I rather go slot port facing the "trunk" sub facing up, 2 x 6" ports facing trunk or 1 x 6" port facing the trunk?
