Chris Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Well yesterday I was on craigslist looking through the car section & managed to pick this baby up from a guy for 400bucks. I'm gonna be giving it to my friend that I've known since 1st grade because he badly needs a ride & I like to be nice! What do you guys think? Did I get a fair deal? It runs perfect & has plenty of power but needs the following: New front springs, brake rotors, & struts (might just go w/o them), needs a new passenger side mirror, windshield, & valve cover gasket along with all fluids. After all that, she'll be good to roll again. It's a 1995 Ford Contour SE fully loaded power everything automatic with 120k on it. I'll tell you right now, the last owner of this thing didn't give a FUCK about it, but it's held together decently & everything can be fixed cuz it's all minor. Enough! Here's some pics of it! The night I pulled it in the driveway: My best buddy Shane! He was in shock when I gave him the call & said "Yeah you have a car now." Here's me cheesin' but keepin my distance cuz that thing literally had a millimeter of dust, salt & dirt on it: Here's the HU that took me almost an hour to ding out of the dash. It had been pushed in WAYY deep, so I got it out, & found out it doesn't work anyways. Oh well looks like I did a good job reinstalling it! Here it is after I spent over 6hours throwing trash out from inside it, vaccuming it, & giving it a bath along with putting on some of the parts that came with it. Anyhow though, yeah I do like being kind & generous whenever I can to whoever I can.
