ZEDAudioHoarder
Was wanting to know if any of you remember Blues subs. They were originally out of Chi Town then they got bought out by StillWater Design and then became Blues Production. They were Most well known for there Iso-Kits which were sold in 8's,10's,& 12's and came paired up or installed in tuned tubes. They were Very expensive for there time. The $10's were $450 raw or $575 in the tubes. They also had a 15" box alot of people remembered due to the fact it had 3" ports lined up all way across the bottom of the box. I had one of those in a Jeep on a Kenwood 1023 back in 94-95 when new. Got me a stack of noise ordnance tickets. I have a pair of the Iso-Kit 10's that I bought in 95 that I want to use again. Naturally the paper work has disappeared and I was Praying that someone on here might still have a catalog or spec sheet around or have access to someone from Kicker/StillWater that could get info. I'm an Avid Audiophile and have a extensive Old School collection. I haven't had nor cared for all this new off shore garbage. Here is a couple pics of a glimpse of my collection. Any input would be Greatly Appreciated! Thanks Don't Be Scared Of The Bottle............Be Scared Of Your Tune!!!
STEvil
why not just use two motors with two separated voice coils? MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. BigPimpin91
why not just use two motors with two separated voice coils? Technically, they are. Just that they are mounted inside of a tube. Isobarically mounted. BigPimpin91's Banging Music

toaster
The last time I installed one of those was around 1997, and that was well after they had discontinued production. It was a single 10 in a Ranger that we just had laying around after we cleaned up the stock room. We sold it for 20 dollars LOL. STEvil
Technically, they are. Just that they are mounted inside of a tube. Isobarically mounted. yes, but you are adding the weight of a second cone plus air mass.. not to mention the obstructions of the front driver to the linear movement of the air mass.
