Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.

I am building a 12k system in my 2000 expedition or 2002 Yukon (Which ever I choose to buy) Which means I will have plenty of room for audio. I am going to run 2 300a alternators and 4 kenetik 2000 batteries. For amps I am going to run 8 1500.1t RF. This is where I draw a blank, which subwoofer to run? I know there are a ton of subwoofers out there. I need some that will be able to hold 2 fosgate 1500. I was thinking L7's cause there rated about where I need but I dont think they will be able to hold 3k+. I really appriciate all the help on this. I am not trying to break the bank on this but I want to run some quality equipment. I want to run either 4 15's or 4 12's. I would love to but at $1000.00 ea, I cant afford them. I really do like then and I am trying to get my hands on 2 of them.
