ztupper Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 dude run DC if you have a local dealer because RE doesnt have a warranty on their subs so you can get them reconed and instead of running all of those fucking rockfords sell all of them and run 1 stestom 14kd2 they are 1400.00$ without shipping and the dc lvl 4 xl's are around 500 a piece and the level fives which are nast and are a great sub run for around 1000.00 a piece the only problem is that the motor structure is way too big and blockes the bass waves of the rear of the sub oh and i got all my info from rusty flowers. good luck

ztupper Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 yeah dude i talked to steve who is the stetsom rep in maryland and he told me the stetsom 14kd2 was 1400 w/out shipping i swear and rob woolcot has his 14kd2 on two lvl 5 10's but he eliminated the clipping by clamping his amp and i was told that the sub can take it because it is raw power and that the rms and peak are just put on the sub statistics because not many people have the money to buy an amp with the power really needed to run the sub to the limit.

HDC3 with Aluminum coils could take the 3k you want to throw. Or, RE makes really good quality subs, as does Fi/AA. 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix build
