OrionStang
My new plan involves two level 5s in my current ride. The only concern I have is the box. Im going to assemble it inside the trunk. The opening is just too small to fit box through. I had to physically beat the hell out of my current box to get it in. Has anybody here ever done a box assembly IN the trunk. Any advice or lessons learned would be very helpful Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Cant do it. The opening is only 11 inches high. And if I cut what I think your friend did, I'd only gain a couple inches. Thats right where the rear axle is, so the opening is small. The trunk is a good size, just getting large things in there is a bish. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
SGTSKIP
I had an '85 notchback GT. If you want so put a box in a stang...... 1. Measure it out to see what you have to work with. 2. Build the box outside the car... DONT GLUE or GLASS it yet!!! 3. Take all the pieces and put 'em together in the trunk. at least you dont have to worry about someone steeling your box Steven Quote Does this smell funny to you? IH8PunkRok
in mine you have to remove the rear seats and that gives you a good 13.5" by 34-35" opening is it not like that in the 2010's? Do like a mock build and then glue everything together inside the trunk. Do you have any helpful tips or things you would have done differently? Nope. The 11" I got is metal to metal. I would have to cut the rear deck a little to get even 13".
