Loud Avalanche Posted March 3, 2010 Report Share Posted March 3, 2010 Does anyone here know a reliable place to have my amp bench tested in Maryland,Virginia area?I have a Stetsom 14k2d thats not putting out the right numbers and i have double and triple checked everthing.I'm getting 4200 watts at 3ohm reactive and i should be seeing 8k-9k out of this amp. Boon Posted March 4, 2010 Report Share Posted March 4, 2010 You're kind of boned. Nobody is going to have the ~2000A supply you need to test one of them at full tilt. If you're brave, open it up and check the rail voltage. Be aware that it's probably over 200vdc and will literally throw you or kill you if it zaps you. Or if I remember correctly you can check the DC voltage between either of the output terminals and ground, then double it. 10.x volts fo' life!
