Loud Avalanche

I'm currently running 4 9515's on 2 AB 1100.1 amps .clamping over 16k total watts.

I run a 26 cft box and I only have 2 times rise.You can also run larger speaker wire which can help.I currently run 4 guage to my subs and i have noticed a big difference .I have had big box rise in small enclosures and large enclosure.There are alot of factors that can effect box rise.

You need to build it to find out. I have built alot of 6th Order boxes that people said wouldn't work.However,I built them anyways and they sounded great and did pretty good on spl also.every vehicle is different so until you build that exact box in your car you won't know.

I lived in Florida for 26 years.The gulf side is much warmer.the nicest beach is a island off of Sarasota called siesta key.The sand is really white and fine like baby powder.of course you have Daytona beach,Miami beach and key west is nice .

This is an isobaric bandpass setup.The idea behind it is that having two subs in a push pull (One sub is out of phase with the other sub)configuration will provide twice the moving mass and also allow for half the box size needed for a normal bandpass box.These set up was very popular in the early 90's when bandpass boxes were huge.They can sound great just like anyother box if designed correctly.The first Kicker solobaric sub was based on this idea.They doubled the mass of the cone and allowed a 12" sub to play in .8 cft instead of the normal 2 cft required boxes of the times.

your in the same boat i was.I bought a dual alt set up from mla for my 2007 chevy avalanche i only had 1 alt at that time and was waiting for my second alt to get to me.I couldn't get th mla module to work until i hooked up the second alt then it worked fine.You have to have both alts hooked up for the circuit to complete and for the voltage to increase.I went from 14.4 volts to 15.8 volts with the module hooked up.
