solo_x18_mobile Posted March 5, 2010 Report Share Posted March 5, 2010 Hifonics BXi 2610D or MB Quart DSC-2000.1D The MB Quart is rated by Maxxsonics at 2200RMS at 1ohm and I know the Hifonics is a lil overrated. But I've read in the Maxxsonics section on this Forum that the MB Quart has a larger 'footprint' than the Hifonics amp. I have the choice of waiting and getting my MB Quart back or paying about $55 more and getting the Hifonics amp. Is it worth it to get the Hifonics amp? What would I be losing by switching to the Hifonics? Keep in mind that Maxxsonics states the MB Quart DSC lineup is there 'premium' line of amplifiers. toaster Posted March 5, 2010 Report Share Posted March 5, 2010 I have owned the 2010, and now own the dsc2000.1. the mbq is a BEAST. i didn't have a meter when i owned the 2010, but the mbq drives the subs quite a bit harder.
