Back Home From The The Hospital

Well i just got released from the hospital today. I had a blacking out spell on tuesday and one one of them i fell in the tub and bit thru my lip and busted a couple teeth. And went to the hospital where they told me that my heart rate was about 40 beats per min. and my blood pressure was super low, so they gave me a adrinaline shot to bring everything back up to where it was supposed to be and i had been in the hospital since under observation. So they finally released me tody and got me on a heart monitor till tomorrow. Heh the last thing i need right now. For those of you all who dont know i finally was accepted into the millitary back in april and i leave next month i pray this doesnt keep me from getting in now.

I feel ya here bro, my dad is having heart problems and he's been off work for about 2 months now, he was off work for 2 years 6 months ago went back 6 months and his heart is back out again. He's going in for surgery next friday, this will be his third one, I pray to god it works. I'll be keeping both of you in my prayers. Hope everything works out for you bro.

diabetes or hypoglicemia (sp?)?

my buddy had this exact thing happen to him a few months back. he was just playing the guitar and got up to turn his amp off and the next thing he remembers is waking up on his floor with his face all fucked up. they thought maybe it was a heart condition, but it turned out he was hypoglicemic, which is like either too much or not enough sugar...cant remember. good news is that it makes u a fuckin light weight when u drink...4 beers and that kid is drunk...lol

Bro, be sure to get a Thyroid scan... a few years back, i fell (black out) for no reason @ all! months later after all kinds of tests a specialist found that i had thyroid disease (Graves Disease) luckily they found it in time... they gave me a nuclear pill that destroyed my thyroid in general. now i have to take a daily supplement thyroid pill, but all is well. there are 2 major problems though... 1 is i have no appetite the other is, when im eating sometimes i need to be reminded that i may be full by now! LOL

well i asked the doc what was up. i mean i am about to turn 21 next month the last thing i need is heart problems. The doc told me that i had prolly gotten food poisining, and when i had woke up earlier and not thrown up but tried to hold it in (i hate throwing up) that put my body into shock, in doing so that lowered my heart rate, then when i finially got tired of feeling like hell and threw up i then dehydrated myself, so the comination didnt work out well for me. I had been up walking around the hospital eariler when i was waiting to get discharged and my heart was doing fine, and all my test have shown up fine. Also when i was in the er they took some blood and my blood sugar level was 130. They also checked me for diabetes and i came up negitive for it thank god(grandmother has it and great grandmother died from things that happened due to her having it). And i am by no means a lightwieght, i can handle my liquor very well, but unfortunately a lot of people on my dads side are alcoholics. I might take some pics later tonight of the heart monitor they have me on and my lip maybe, but you cant see much on the outside since it is scabbed up and the inside is very swollen and hurts like hell to move.

thanks for your prayers, and all. lord knows i need em cuz i dont need this sill stuff to keep me from going to basic after all the trouble i had proving that i dont have asthma.

that sucks man.... Ive had heart problems on and off the past 2years. Rescently my heart /chest hurts, could be a Angina possibly from what the Doc told me, but may just be stress also, my dad is dying, and stress at work, this and that. My heart rate skyrockets fast, and drops pretty slowly.... Thats also what I get for drinking alot of acffiene, and haveing very expensive drug habbits in my teen years and early 20s

I remember when I had to wear one of those heart monitors... I hated it. I have MVP, mitral valve prolapse, one of my valves in my heart doesnt shut all the way when it beats, so blood that is supposed to exit my heart gets released back into my heart, this means that if there is bacteria in that blood that is supposed to exit my heart then I have a good possiblity of death if it doesnt get outta my heart, and comes back through that valve. I have to take these huge ass pills before anything that involves my teeth getting messed with. and since I had braces I got 3000 bucks in my "grill" hahaha and i go get checked up alot, so that means alot of pills. Never passed out, but deff feel the heart acting up.
