rattlecancustom
here's my first " custom system " in over 5 years. Best Buy Deck, MA Audio mids ( i've had in the garage for like 4 years), oldschool Earthquake amp, single Pioneer 12, monster cables... all together about $250... the mids and amp i already had. EricR
everthings cool but that HU.....insignia SUCKS ass IMO i would have bought this http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=6805 before that Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? rattlecancustom
want to keep the $$ low. but i got a 100 mile daily commute so i like to have some nice tunes. plan on getting a deck with more power since i'm running the mids off it, bigger amp and yes another box (ported ?) ... keeping the same single 12. maybe another $500 to $600. AI James
entry level pioneer maybe even a 5900 would be nice and make a box of your own for like 50 should be under 300 for some nice improvements
