lol looks alot better then my first build but it looks like you basicly trapped the subs between those "partitions" and the trunk lid. i think if you woulda did it sealed off to the front you would be way louder. but definitely still a great job.

How does a sport like this do in tough economic times? Just fine. There are 465 events listed in the current season. Also, when low bass notes hit i can hear my two stock front door speakers trying to hit those notes and its sounds like shit. I know it'll eventually blow them, and i plan on replacing them soon anyways, but what do i adjust to keep this from happening? The amp that i had running all my mids/highs got water on it when i opened my trunk a while ago so i cant just change the x-over. So unfortunately im back to using the shitty built head unit amp for now. When i lower the bass notes though it effects my subs also which i dont want.

1. You want ALL of your HU equilizer points set to 0 or flat no bass boost or anything like that. You'll clip the hell out of your amps. 2.Use rubber grommets ALWAYS when you're wiring anything up that goes through wood, Metal, ect found here Rubber Gromets

3. Indoor/Outdoor carpet is fine for your box (I've never heard of sub box carpet its either backed indoor/outdoor carpet or non backed indoor/outdoor carpet as far as I know.)4. Keep at it 99% of us on here has learned from trial and error. My suggestion is to keep a list of all the sub boxes you build complete with cut dimensions. Mark which ones work for a spacific sub/amp combo and which ones don't. 5. As far as your stock speakers the only solution I can think of is either A getting some bass blockers or B getting a new passive crossover it'll make them sound 10x better I wouldn't amp them though. Most stock speakers I've seen run at about 15wrms (with the exception of Bose then again they run a low impedience)

p.s. I know I suck at spelling.

I went up to the hardware store and picked up four of these computer desk caps. They make it all a little cleaner, i just wish they had black.
