I have to pick up my term lab and get a prelim score.. sounds louder and deeper than my previous system also hair tricks a lot faster. the sides of the enclosure have not yet been sealed off from the b pillars forward yet.. its surprising how much bass is escaping around the sides, top and bottom the box. will spend a few day next week starting the sealing of the system. a 158@30hz seems like a reality no problem now. I have been working on my car. chugging along. got the subwoofer box trimmed out. have some cosmetic touches and some holes to fill to prevent as little pressure as possible from escaping. the verdict so far with the trim being 90 percent finished is. rear doors no longer flex and try to open as well as the rear window doesnt look like its going to fly out. I would say the flex is down about 75 percent. The car hair tricks at 75 percent volume now opposed to 90 percent like before. I let someone barrow my meter and have yet to get it back, so my dream of burping the stereo before and after the trimming is now gone. I will however have a full tilt run on sunday the 25th at a big event here in sacramento, my main competitor and I will square off head to head. he currently has a 1.3 db lead over me hopefully the trim work will help me close that gap a bit. I will have a good gauge at where I am at and what little things I can do from the 25th to world finals to squeeze any last juice from the system. I have a couple little tricks that I might throw into the mix if time and desire permits.
