trunk lock

So earlier today I put some damplifier pro in my trunk and got rid of nearly all the vibrations in my trunk. The only thing is that the key hole thing on my trunk shakes like crazy and is the only thing that is really making any noise.

Any advice on what I can do to make it stop vibrating?

It's a 2007 Kia spectra And I can get pics but it's just where you would put the key in to open the trunk if there was no electricity in the car

maybe some polyester backing around it, im gonna use that for a hard spot that i cant get the deadner into. but pics would be nice so u could get a better opinion from everyone.

if you can get it out pull it out silicone around it and then put it back in and when it dries trim the excess

and the rattle is 100% from the keyhole

FUUUUUUUUUU well i would take the panel off the inside and check it out. Some king of glue/silicon is gonna be your best bet. Or shave the thing off! lol even maybe some dynamat type stuff around the outside of it after you take the panel off.
